Transferring a Domain to IllusionCloud

  1. Unlock Your Domain: Log in to your current domain registrar and ensure your domain is unlocked for transfer. This setting is typically under the "Domain Lock" section.

  2. Request an EPP Code: Generate an EPP authorization code from your current registrar. This code is necessary to initiate the transfer.

  3. Initiate the Transfer on IllusionCloud: Log in to your IllusionCloud WHMCS account, navigate to "Transfer a Domain," and enter your domain name and EPP code in the transfer form.

  4. Confirm the Transfer: Pay the transfer fee during checkout. An email will be sent to the domain's administrative contact to approve the transfer. Approve the request to complete the process.

  5. Update DNS Settings: Once the transfer is successful, update the DNS settings through the WHMCS client portal if necessary.
